The Boston MedFlight team is an experienced, high-performance team providing expertise in quality patient care. Our team pairs critical care transport nurses and paramedics on all of our patient transports

Critical Care Transport Nurses
- Massachusetts Licensed Registered Nurse
- Certified Emergency Medical Technician in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as an RN in Critical Care Unit and/or Emergency Department
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
- NRP, PALS, ACLS, BLS, CEN, and CCRN certifications

Paramedics/Critical Care Transport Specialists
- Certified Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 5 years EMS experience preferred
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- NRP, PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications

Specialty Pediatric/Neonatal Teams
Boston MedFlight, in conjunction with our consortium hospitals, makes every effort to accommodate the transport of patients requiring specialized care. While our own critical care transport teams care for many pediatric and neonatal patients, we also work collaboratively with specialty teams from Boston Children's Hospital, the MassGeneral Hospital for Children, and Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center.

Rotor Wing Pilots
- ATP rating - highest level of competency available
- Employees of Boston MedFlight
- All maintain proficiency in single pilot IFR operations

EMT Drivers
- Certified Emergency Medical Technician in the state of Massachusetts
- Safe driving record
- CPR/AED certification

Communication Specialists
- Certified Emergency Medical Technician in Massachusetts or Nationally Registered and BLS
- IAMTCS Certified Flight Communications Course
- Basic computer skills
- Previous communications and operations experience preferred

Equipment Retrieval
- Certified Emergency Medical Technician in Massachusetts
- Licensed Massachusetts driver in good standing
- Working knowledge of pre-hospital equipment, safety standards, and universal precautions

Aviation Maintenance Technicians
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
- Inspection Authorization (IA) Certification
- Rotor wing mechanics are employees of Boston MedFlight
- Fixed wing mechanics are employed by SevenBar Aviation
