What to Expect When You Call
Our 24/7 Communications Center coordinates thousands of transports each year, working closely with community hospitals, EMS, and tertiary care centers to ensure timely and appropriate care.
When you call to initiate a transport:
- Our team evaluates the request and determines the best mode—air or ground—based on clinical need, distance, and weather
- We quickly assign our team to transport patients to the appropriate facility
- Our clinicians work closely with your team for bedside handoff, with ongoing communication throughout the transport
- Patients are transported with ICU-level equipment and care from start to finish, bedside to bedside
- We coordinate directly with the receiving facility to ensure a smooth and informed transition
