Caring for our community has always been at the heart of Boston MedFlight’s mission. And while much of that care happens through the work we do every day, we’re proud to support our neighbors in other meaningful ways, too.
Did you know that in 2025, 40% of Massachusetts households experienced food insecurity?
This fall, Boston MedFlight is once again hosting a food drive at our Bedford base to help support local organizations working to meet that need.
We’re inviting our entire community to participate — employees, supporters, visitors, and especially those coming to Boston MedFlight for classes and training. Donation boxes will be available in our front vestibule for easy drop-off.
We’re collecting:
- Shelf-stable pantry staples
- Grains, rice, and pasta
- Snacks
- Personal care items
- Baby food and baby care items
- Other nonperishable essentials

Last year marked our first food drive, and thanks to the generosity of our community, it was a great success, allowing us to make donations to several regional organizations just in time for the holiday season.
We’re thrilled to continue this effort and find another way to care for the communities we serve.
