It has been an exciting start to the summer here at Boston MedFlight! We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with our partners and share our mission with the communities we serve. We hope you enjoy exploring a few of our most recent highlights.
Boston MedFlight Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jason Cohen, Paramedic Carl Rabickow, Paramedic Zack Charest, and Nurse Erica Puopolo, joined by our partner Christian Grant, a former Boston MedFlight paramedic and current UMass Memorial LifeFlight clinician, recently hosted an Air Medical Utilization training for Nashoba Regional High School’s Cadet Program in Bolton, Massachusetts. As one of the first programs of its kind in Massachusetts, the EMT Cadet Program introduces high school students to careers in emergency medical services while reinforcing a strong commitment to community service. We are proud to support and inspire the next generation of EMS professionals!

Members of the local business community joined us at our Bedford, Massachusetts headquarters for a Multi-Chamber Networking Event. Guests enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of our facility while gaining a deeper understanding of our mission and the critical care services we provide throughout the region. We appreciate everyone who spent the evening with us and extend a special thank you to our Chamber partners for their continued support!

Boston MedFlight’s Bedford Clinical Operations Manager, Jennifer Powers, partnered with Beauport Ambulance Service to provide a specialized training session for members of the Marblehead & Swampscott Fire Departments. The session featured an educational presentation of our critical care transport services, followed by a hands-on helicopter experience where participants explored the aircraft’s specialized capabilities while learning valuable safety procedures and emergency protocols.

In addition to the events highlighted above, we would also like to thank some of the many other organizations that welcomed Boston MedFlight in recent months, including Brockton Hospital’s ED Stabilization Class, the New Hampshire CPR Challenge hosted by Eversource Energy, FBI Operational Medicine Training, Madison Park Vocational Technical High School, Shawsheen Valley Technical High School, the Wareham/Southcoast Helipad Ribbon Cutting, the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire Summer Camp, and the Needham Police Department Junior Police Academy. We appreciate the opportunity to connect, educate, and share our mission with so many dedicated community partners, and we thank each of these groups for having us!
