After two tremendously successful years of Boston Marathon teams—including last year’s team, which raised more than $94,000—we’re thrilled to share that Boston MedFlight is returning for a third year as an Official Charity Partner of the 131st Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America on April 19, 2027!
Starting today, we’re opening our runner interest form and application process for those eager to join Team Boston MedFlight. Runners who apply through the standard application process must be prepared to make a fundraising commitment of at least $15,000. Funds raised directly support the critical care Boston MedFlight provides every
day.
For runners who are ready to make an even greater commitment, we will guarantee a bib to any runner who makes an early written commitment to raise at least $20,000 by December 31, while spots remain available. Whether you’re chasing another World Marathon Major or are especially passionate about Boston MedFlight’s mission, we
encourage interested runners who are prepared to make the $20,000 commitment to reach out immediately to Kali Bryan at kali.bryan@bostonmedflight.org.
Selected runners will enjoy unique perks and experiences beyond guaranteed race entry, including Boston MedFlight-branded gear; an exclusive tour of our facilities, vehicles and aircraft; personalized fundraising support to help you reach your goal; team meetups; and the opportunity to hear directly from patients whose lives have been impacted by supporters like you.
With only five invitational entries available, spots on Team Boston MedFlight are extremely limited. Don’t miss your chance to run this iconic race while making a lifesaving impact— complete our interest form today.
OUR 2027 RUNNER INTEREST FORM IS AVAILALBE HERE.
Recruitment begins September 17, 2026. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and selected runners will be notified in October.
