We’re hiring a Chief Information Officer!  Boston MedFlight is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and forward-looking Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the organization’s technology strategy at an important point in its evolution.  The CIO will have the opportunity to shape a modern, resilient technology environment supporting critical-care transport operations across clinical, aviation, communications, ground, and other functions.

Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership team, and Board of Trustees, the CIO will establish a clear enterprise technology roadmap, strengthen cybersecurity, business continuity, and information governance, optimize technology operations and systems, and identify opportunities to use data, digital technologies, automation, and artificial intelligence to improve organizational effectiveness and support Boston MedFlight’s mission.

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller is responsible for overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting across the organization. The Controller leads the day‑to‑day financial management functions and compliance. The Controller will provide strategic financial insight to support organizational goals.

Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Logistics, the Fleet Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance coordination, readiness, and lifecycle support of Boston MedFlight’s ground vehicle fleet, including ambulances, support vehicles, and other assigned fleet assets.

The Fleet Specialist ensures that vehicles are safe, reliable, compliant, appropriately maintained, and available to support Boston MedFlight’s critical care transport mission. The position serves as the organization’s primary technical resource for ground fleet maintenance and works collaboratively with Clinical Logistics, Ground Operations, Safety, Facilities, Finance, Purchasing, and outside vendors.

Air ambulance helicopter pilot responsible for the safe and efficient operation of helicopter air transport missions, including emergency medical flights, interfacility transfers, and scene responses. This role requires exceptional flying skills, sound judgment under pressure, and a commitment to the safety of patients, crew, and aircraft. The pilot operates in single-pilot, VFR and IFR conditions, and collaborates closely with clinical and operational staff to support Boston MedFlight’s mission of critical care transport.

Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Aviation Officer (CAO) provides collaborative strategic leadership and executive oversight of Boston MedFlight’s aviation business unit which includes flight operations, maintenance, and aviation safety. The CAO ensures the safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of aviation operations and respects and preserves the regulatory, airworthiness, and operational authority of the Director of Aviation Operations (DO), Director of Maintenance (DOM) and Chief Pilor (CP) while aligning performance with the organization’s mission and goals.

Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Logistics, the Logistics Specialist performs specialized clinical logistics, quality, compliance, and operational support functions for Boston MedFlight.

The position has primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of Boston MedFlight’s blood product inventory and satellite blood bank locations and provides operational and compliance support for the organization’s Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) program. Responsibilities include blood product inventory and traceability, storage monitoring, regulatory documentation, POCT quality control and calibration, equipment maintenance, proficiency testing support, corrective action documentation, and inspection readiness.

The Biomedical Equipment Technician serves as Boston MedFlight’s primary in-house technical resource for the inspection, preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, lifecycle management, and technical support of medical equipment and related systems used in critical care transport operations.

Under the direction of the Operations Managers, provide comprehensive safe effective medical care to patients transported by Boston MedFlight (BMF).

Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer and Director of Operations-Clinical, the Critical Care Transport Specialist (CCTS) is responsible for providing safe, effective, and comprehensive prehospital and interfacility care to patients transported by Boston MedFlight by air or ground. The CCTS functions as part of a high-performance clinical team, capable of responding to a wide variety of high-acuity medical scenarios.

The Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) ensures Boston MedFlight aircraft are maintained in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), manufacturer guidelines, and organizational policies. Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the AMT performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, documents repairs, and supports operational readiness across all BMF aviation sites. This position is vital to ensuring airworthiness, safety, and operational efficiency.
